I know we all like to rip on those who ask the "is it possible" questions, but I've been doing some thinking...
1. Knowing that several C Series Transaxles can be found in the Celica throughout its generations.
2. Knowing that you can drop in ZZ series powerplants into pre-2000 Celicas.
3. Knowing that you can reverse the direction of gear selection in transmission to convert from MR to FWD operation, albeit a major waste of time for most applications.
4. Knowing that this question is entirely serious...
Would you be able to reverse the C65M (Toyota's only available Sequential Manual Transmission) and fit it, mated to a compatible powerplant, into a Celica engine bay?
I know there are a whole host of issues, but I thought this idea deserved some scrutiny from the group. I mean come on, SMT in a Celica is kinda cool. Like a cat drinking milk
