4th Generation 87 GT-S Ticking

So I posted before about a ticking sound from the top of my engine. It sounds exactly like a sticky lifter and the sound seems to be coming from the exact spot it would if that were the problem.. Yesterday though, I noticed that when I turn on my running lights, or my headlights that the noise almost completely goes away?!?!?!? Any Ideas?

Thanks

to be honest i really dont know how many miles on the car?
could be just a loose pice of somthing that a certian rpm rattles like a bastard BUT what would (if mechanical) make the noise stop under load
look at everything related to the alt pully im guessing you have a/c
is your fuel pump week?
fuel filter cloged?
bad sensor?
bad relay?
bad gas
kinked vacume line
but most in line engines are noisy
