No spark 90 Celica GT 2.2 Igniter ?

I am working on a friend's 90 Celica GT 2.2 which was running fine & turned off. Next day no spark, timing belt is good & dist. rotates. Fuses good so far. ECU B was out to keep air bag light off. Power on Black/Orange wire w/ key on. Dist. cap was loose w/ only 1 screw! What should be coil primary resistance? Reading 1.3-1.4 ohms however a probe wire was extended after it broke & DVOM reads .9-1 ohm w/ probes connected. Secondary resistance is about 9500.
So far it's looking like the Ignition module.

Is there a way to check the igniter (Ignition module)?

Are there other Toyotas that have an igniter that will work in a 90 Celica GT 2.2?
