2003 Celica GT-S TRD Problem lining up rims

Hello, Im new to the site and I have a 2003 Celica GT-S TRD. My problem is that I bought the car with aftermarket rims on it, and a nice aftermarket dummy tire (not just a black little spair) When I went to try on the spair tire for the fun of it, the middle circle spot in the rim wouldn't go all the way onto the spicket surface and when I put it on there was a space big enough to fit my finger between the surface on the back of the rim that is suposed to sit flat on the circle rotor surface. I tried to find winter rims for the car but the same problem keeps coming up. I was told that in 04 the spicket surface was larger then the 03. Could the 04 rotos fit and work on my 2003 Celica GT-S TRD ? This is very hard for my to explain so I'm trying my best. Hopefully someone on this site can help me or give me some usefull information.

It would help if you could post high resolution pictures of what you are trying to explain. Also include info about the rim (manufacturer, model, specs). 2000 model year is the only one different in regards to brakes. The front rotors on the 2000 model year are smaller compared to 2001-2005. Your vehicle is interchangeable with 2001-2005.
