91' Celica GT convertible tune up cost

Hi,
Got a 91' celica and I am looking to do a tune up but my mechanic is charging me $310 dollars parts + labor. I think is a little too steep for a tune up and decided to do it myself. Anyone know how much can I expect to spend on parts?

What is included for $310?
Can't tell you anything until we know what your mechanic is doing.

call a local toyota dealership (unless thats where this guy works) for some prices. plugs are like 6 a pop. stock air filter is a waste . go aftermarket and never buy another. the dealer will give you a nice benchmark on where to go.

I believe the full tune up consists of - plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, oxygen sensor, ignition switch and coil. No pcv valve, just pcv hose. I have never replaced my oxygen sensor, ignition switch or coil. Check the manual and autozone.com for prices. Good luck with the fuel filter, soak for a few days with a good pentatrant then try to loosen.
