Heres the Deal, Im building a 2.2L mainly out of curiousity and mainly because if Im correct I should be able to get as much power as a alltrac with out the swapping and without the mods. So Far heres what I got Ive taken the head to a machine shop that is going to port out the intake and exhaust to make the head breath properly. Oversized valves and I think they are going to put in some better rockers. The blocks going to be getting bored as well not much cause its not that bad. Im reringing with chrome mollys to take the turbos pressure. Headers, Turbo, and high performance oil pump to make sure the turbos getting adequte oil. We are also looking at putting in some larger injectors or messing with the pulse width to allow the injectors to stay open a little more. I think I can use the front cv joints from the alltrac to withstand the tourqe. Heres the two problems Im not sure what to do about the cam and crank, also does anyone know what can be done about the transmission, It is gear very low, to low, should I take it to a transmission person and have them mod it for my application or should I replace it with something that will take this massive enginge?
