USA 2002 Celica electrical question....

Hi,
I have a 2002 Gt,last week i just had the motor and clutch replaced.
Granted i haven't had a chance to get it back to the shop that did the work, but i wanted to see if maybe this is just a possible fuse/relay problem.
All my lights, blinkers and inside dash work. However my radio does not work and although the wipers work, its only on hi and low.it no longer wipes while spraying fluid or on intermediate.Has anyone expeirenced this problem before? I did check the fuses under the hood and in the car.The radio fuse was blown but i replaced it.When you put the new fuse in it makes a static sound as your connecting it...but the radio still does not work.Under the hood i couldn't see any loose wires they may be touching. Is it possisble they didnt fasten my ground cable? Any help would be greatly apprieciated thx....

Definitely sounds like a missing ground cable (static noise is telling you have too much electrical noise in the system, probably from a groundloop problem somewhere). Also possible that the engine wiring harness or body harness got damaged in the swap - could be a wire was cut or crushed accidentally.

I'd start with the components that don't work and trace back the wiring to the source. There aren't that many fuses - I'd go ahead and check every single one of them - you could have an issue beyond what you've found so far.

Thx fish i'll do that...Also i'm taking it back today to the shop that performed the work.
I already have a feeling their gonna give me the run around but the bottom line is everything worked before the new motor n clutch....now it doesn't.I'm not the most mechanically inclined person but that tells me something happened.
I also just yesterday realized my headlights actually don't work. The DRLs run,the fog lights work but when the headlights are turned on they dont work all i have is the highbeams n fog lights.
So like i say SOMETHING is askew.
I'll trace the wiring best I can...and today i'll be taking the celi back to the shop.
If i find out what is causing this i will post it,hopefully to save someone else some possible aggervation in the future!
