Should I Buy This 89 Gts???

There is a guy in town of me who has a 89 gts 3sge motor in it.

Only problems are power steering leakage(i think might be coming out from bad clamp on hose or rack needs replace easy fix).

Brake fluid is leaking(also easy fix brake lines master cylinder internal)

and

front axle change not sure if whole thing needs to change or not but... also another easy fix.

This guy is trying to sell for 900 dollars but im trying to bring it down to even 500-600

just wondering if this would be a good deal on my part. pictures are here

Don't know about that - those fixes aren't too bad - its the ones that will crop up later that I'm worried about. Even at $500-$600 - that is a little too high, that car is really rough - lots of body damage. Might just be panel damage, but you won't know until you put it on a chassis jig and see if it out of whack.

For a parts car - probably just fine. For a project that you plan on building up - and you have a pile of cash set aside to work on it - probably OK. Anything else - IDK - you can probably find a similar Celica in much better shape for less than a grand. I'd keep looking, if it was me.
