2000 celica gt engine problem

recently my engine died on me where i had a rod shoot through the oil pan and now it will not run. i am wondering if the transmission was effected too where that needs to be replaced as well?

i know the engine needs to be replaced and i hope that is it because my celica is a used car with 105k miles on it. if i need to replace anything else i may have to junk it which i really do not want to do.

auto or manual? either way can't really tell till you have a working engine in there, but highly unlikely unless you already had trans problems.
