Canada Air Conditioner

I just bought my 1994 Celica GTS and everything was working fine. My air conditioner was blowing cold air. After going for a highway drive I turned my air conditioner on and everything stopped working. I couldn't turn the heat on or anything. I went out and purchase fuses and replaced it and everything worked fine again until I pushed my air conditioner on everything died again. Not really sure what would casue this but I really want to get it fixed Thank you

Possibly a bad wire going to the air conditioner. When you turn the a/c on the internal clutch switch catches and turns the inside of the a/c unit on. The belt is always spinning, then you turn the a/c on, internally the clutch turns on the a/c and you feel a draw on your engine. Point is...check the wire coming off of the a/c unit which is connected to the drive belt.
Check the manual for a wiring diagram for the fuse the keeps blowing. Also mainly check for a bare or a bad wire anywhere. Short circuits blow fuses.

I would think the a/c button goes to the a/c unit and between there is your problem wire.

Hello Friends..........

I think PittsburghCeli is right. I agree with you. A bad wire is used for Air Conditioner. Best way to check the manual for wiring diagram for the fuse the keeps blowing or to consult any good mechanic.

Thanks.
