1989 Celica GT Exhaust Smoke

I have a 1989 Celica that has been smoking for awhile now. I have checked everything I can think of and had numerous mechanics look at it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what it might be. Car was running fine for about a week then started smoking one morning when I went to go drive it. Its black smoke. Car idles a bit rough as well.
