check out my post. Since you got a 92 celica, the distributor is of the same type as the corolla and tercels Ive tried it on. Typically, ignitions are a complement to mods...ie..more air through a CAI or more fuel, etc...you need to get it sparked. Ignitions, especially the Capacitive discharge systems are among the most efficient...used on all kinds of race vehicles and trucks with high towing capacities. To answers your questions:

1) It gives you a better spark and more complete combustion for ALL mods, now and the future..in addition to cleaning up everything unburned inside your cyl. now.
2) Installing is easier than hooking up a stereo system...if you have the parts all ready and can cut/splice about 6 wires and bolt a few things.
3) Doesnt hurt anything at all. It makes the engine MORE efficient...so the miles per gallon actually do increase and you feel a bit mroe snap under acceleration.
4) These mods arent cheap. Typical kit will run you $400 or so..its all the little things that add up. But I got one for sale for only $200! Brand new...just taken out of box to make sure it works.
5) You dont gain much power...you gain the potential to increase your power output. Its a complement system...designed to run with all the mods you can put on. And it really does make a difference.

Anyways...u2u me if you have any more questions. Ive been using MSD kits for a few years now (no..not a vendor or an affiliate of MSD...just a toyota guy) and I recommend them to every person running distributor based systems. They really work well.

Huh

So the kit you are selling.... does it have everything I need to hook it up? (besides extra wire, hoses, and screws.)
Now question:
1.) Does it replace anything oem?
2.) How long did it take you to install yours?
3.) What kind of mods work w/ the ingnition system besides performance muffler and cold air intake?
Thanks for the insight.
