well this thread is pretty dead compared to others around here so answers can usually take a little while longer. The arms (if you mean the arms going width wise across the car are the lateral arms. the arm going lengthwise is the trailing arm/strut rod. sadly I've never seen just the bushings available for sale for the lateral arms because its actually a spherical bearing that goes bad, not a regular rubber bushing. and after checking toyodiy.com I do not see a rubber bushing in the strut rod either

for the generation info this can easily be found doing a search and wikipedia has some decent basic info.

anyway you have a 5th gen with a 5S-FE engine

5= generation of engine series
S= block series
F= type of head, this time the economy head(opposed to the G head which is performance)
E= electronic fuel injection

a little more info on engine codes:

also if that arm is indeed the problem, before trying the dealer try 1sttoyotaparts.com its genuine toyota parts at a ery good price, they saved me about $150 on the two motor mounts that I needed.

usually not the best way to get help, usually answers can be found pretty easily by lurking this thread as well as other celica forums, rather than getting an attitude.

maybe if it could be held in with some red threadlocker?

what all have you tried? impact wrench? big breaker bar? if neither of those worked try using a torch and heating the bolt up some. if its red threadlocker it has only 25% of its strength at ~ 400 degrees compared to 100 degrees.

its probably rusted on and is going to break off unless you heat it with a torch.
