Gen6 1999 Celica ... GS?

Hi everyone, i recently bought a 99 Celica and it is labeled as GS. It seems to be quite rare, as i can't find much about it on the net.

I need to get a couple of things for it and I just want to know if it is similar to the GT, GT-S, or SX versions (or other?), and if so, what are the differences?

Will parts from these kinds fit my car?

Any help is welcome, thanks!

I honestly have never heard of that trim, I assume you would have the same trim levels as australia which are just SX and ZR or the GT4? I guess just check out which engine you have and what drivetrain you have and use that to figure out which its closest too?

Hi Rob, thanks for your help on this.

The back of it looks similar to the picture you posted above, except mine is a bit more rounded, and on the right it has GS instead of GT.

I think maybe it's a New Zealand version? It is model ST204R and is a 2.2L FWD automatic (One of my wife's two conditions for the purchase LOL)

Something i need to get is a rear parcel tray because the pin that hinges on the mounts is broken off from one side.

Does this mean that all other ST204Rs will have the same parcel tray as mine?

Also, is there a way to upload pictures here from my desktop?

Thanks again

actually that picture is just my sig. lol and its a 92 so it will look quite a bit different.

yeah sounds just like a basic st204 found in North America and Australia/New Zealand.

to upload pictures you'll have to use an image hosting service like photobucket, imageshack, or flickr.
