R12 aircon adaptor

Hoping someone out there can help before I go to Toyota...

I have a 1992 Toyota Celica GT that is low on R12 refrigerant. I have done this many times before on other cars but on the low side of my celica it is a different size connector from that of a normal R12 fitting. Instead of being a standard 1/4" it is approx a 1/8" and I know it is def not R134 as that is 1/2"....

My question is, is there some sort of special adaptor out there that I can get, do I need to get one made up, or is this a ploy by Toyota to make sure I have to go to them and ultimately get an R134 conversion!!!

Please help
