USA 85 celica auto to be converted to a stick

Hi,
my friend is selling me a auto and it is in bad shape transmission.
I want to convert it to a stick.
what parts do i need and if I hire a mechanic does it take a long time?
what are the major steps to impliment the conversion? How many hours or how much time and money do you think it will take? basically, is it worth it?

basic rundown of parts:

transmission(obviously)
clutch pedal
brake pedal
clutch master cylinder
clutch slave cylinder
any lines that may be needed
possible transmission mounts(you'll have to compare some part numbers)
clutch
flywheel
possibly a section of your center console if it different

I looked into doing this for my old ae92 but it required quite a bit of serious work and I ultimately decided against doing it. if its not a daily driver and you dont mind it being out of commission and you're familiar with what all would need to be done then I say go for it. I decided against it because at the time I had some knowledge but not enough to be able to do that unless I had a full parts car or a clip that I could referrance. IIRC there is a thread or two in the corolla section of a swap like this on newer corollas(like an 8th gen or up) but this of course would be somewhat different because they're FWD and would also have shifter linkages running to the transmission and thats another possible headache.

its late so I probably forgot some stuff

Me say no buy it ..... cost of conversion is probably = to worth of the car (or more), unless you can DIY it all yourself ..... still not worth the investment of time and $$$, imho .... good luck
