1990 Celica BVSV for 2.2 Litre

I need to replace the BVSV on my engine. The plastic nipples where the vacuum lines connect broke off. I can't find one at parts stores like Auto Zone or NAPA. Does anyone know who may carry one?

Try junkyard. You can use the one from Camry and Corolla. Don't need to be same engine as long as it looks the same. Take the whole coolant neck so you don't break the nipples. A deep socket with a slot for the nipples to pass works wonder.

Thanks. I actually found a used one on Ebay. The Toyota dealer wants $70.00 for one.

Napa sold me one for $39. I looked for a VSV Sensor. Just have them look up vacuum sensors. Mine is new and the seal is great. Sometimes people crush the brass when they remove them, I have seen a few oblong BVSV's...

The VSV sensor and the BVSV sensor are not the same. My car has both. According to NAPA the BVSV is not an aftermarket item.

I just used "VSV" to locate the BVSV at NAPA thats all. If they don't carry it anymore for whatever reason (I got mine a year ago) you should try Carquest. They are the exclusive importer of Denso. I have gotten many Denso parts from them and it keeps my 'yota looking original.

I usually connect as many things together with vacuum hoses. They seem to always charge me for one item, instead of 10...
