03 Celica GTS clutch problem ??

Hello, I own a 03 celica and I noticed sence I owned the car about 1/2 a month ago that I just hopped in it last week and the clutch fells like its almost at the point when you let it out that it grabs when you almost take your foot off the clutch pedial. I have not been riding the clutch or anything, this was a shock but I cant remmeber if it was better. I just feels weird. I know it has a hydro clutch so is this what the hydro clutches will feel like or not ? I know when cable clutches in like civics are at that point when your letting it out and it grabs around where you take your foot off that its going to slip and you need a clutch, but is the hydro clutch in the celicas like that too or what ?
Any info will be great help, thanks.

Sounds like the clutch is going bad. Mine did the same thing and it slipped if I gave it gas. You can try bleeding the slave cylinder, but that springy grab you usually feel is the pressure plate. The springy motion is gone from it and your feel the pedal grab higher at the top.

Clutch jobs are not hard, just have to have the right tools, like a transmission jack or motorcycle jack. Disconnect wiring harness from top of tranny. Take axles out of the tranny. Drop tranny onto jack and replace the clutch.

Clutch fluid reservoir is on the drivers side engine compartment. Standing in front of the car it's in the top right corner behind the shock tower.

That is where mine is. Find the line coming off the transmission and follow it to a reservoir. There is a 7th gen manual at celicatech. com that can tell you where it is located.
