gen 7 2002 Toyota Celica GT Fuel Indicator and Instrument Panel Issue - Not working

I am having the same issue as in this post, but it expands to other lights/indicators.

I have had my vehicle for two years and I have had no issues until the last two months. One of these is I woke up, went to start my vehicle and the low fuel light was on. I instantly thought that someone had siphoned fuel as I had over half a tank. There was a gas station a mile away at the bottom of a hill so I went to it and I was only able to get about 5 gallons before it stopped so I knew it was the indicator.

I have gone with it for about a week using my Trip Odometer to figure out how much I have.

I should mention that other indicators are not showing either:
  • Fuel Guage
  • Driver seatbelt indicator
  • Passenger seatbelt indicator
  • Dome light - when door is open
  • Power door locks
  • Daytime runnign lights (DRL)

I figure I would wait until my three day weekend to work out the issues if possible. I did do the easy thing such as checking the bulbs on my lights (they work, just not DRL), my fuses (via the owners manual - all are good to go), and loose connection (since some of these items are combined on the same fuse and work - I figure it could not be loose).

Any ideas for me to try when I play mechanic this weekend...or next?

Thank you.

UPDATE:

Yesterday I was about to take it in for this issue (see above) when all the lights auto-magically started working again alongside the power locks and various indicators.

This afternoon, back to square one: DRLs stopped working, etc. What in the world! Craziness I tell ya!
