Thumbs down Wow!! Explosive stuff is not what it seems. Had fun though.

I had a bright Idea and decided to do some stuff that seemed like it will give me horse power. My dad has some oxygen tanks hanging around the house, and some hydrogen and some methane tanks. So I had the bright Idea of putting those tanks in my car and had them wired deep into my cold air intake actually past the intake crome tube and into the square part. I had bought some High liter/minute regulators and some high pressure tubing w/ wire mesh all around it. Spend a load of cash. So first I started with the oxygen tank. When I ran it with 45 liters per minute the car was a little quicker. So then I decided that the oxygen was too rich and was maxing with the fuel so then I wired the hydrogen in there the same way. That did nothing but make the engine sound aggressive. So then I replaced it with the propane. and that was better. I probably gained an aditional 20hp. Then my dad saw what was doing and explained to me how I could blow myself up with the propane because of the hose can catch on fire and back into the propane tank. When I looked at the hoses afterward the hoses were coated w/frost. I figured that the propane and the oxygen worked as nos does. I think I will find a nos kit and be safe. I consider my brainstorming overwith. now I have holes in my firewall and in my intake tube. Oh what fun. DO NOT TRY THIS. THIS IS REALLY DANGEROUS. I was stupid however I knew a little bit on how to play it safe. :

I love trying new things on cars. That is why I do stuff like this. I will now stay in bound with things that are proven to work
