1zzfe celica 1zzfe corolla

i need a new/used engine for my 02 celica gt....its 1zzfe and the corolla is also a 1zzfe...will it fit..and can anybody tell me what the difference is between the celica gt and the corolla 1zzfe engine?

from what i understan the corolla and celica have different mounts on the 1zzfe and they dont interchange i found a rebuilt cellica engine at carking.com in SoCal for $1500

... it should fit. same engine. sometimes there are small revisions in engines so try to get one as close to yours as possible ( meaning year) because sometimes sensors differ a bit over the years. other wise those mounts and all should be in the same spot. the mounts themselves could possibly vary a bit but just use the old ones....

yes it can as long as u get the right one ie.
coil pac and individual coil
vvti and non vvti
other then that a 1zzfe is the same even in the mr2
