Curious problem that has developed recently:
When I'm in a parking lot or the drive-through, there is a lot of short-distance stopping-and-starting. I'll let out the clutch in first gear (without revving higher than 1000rpm) to move the car-length forwards, and when I depress the clutch again the idle drops down to 400 or 500rpm for a second until it recovers and comes up to 750 or 800rpm. It seems just on the verge of stalling, though it never has (yet).
If the rpms are higher when I depress the clutch (say, decelerating to a stop sign) and come to a stop, the rpms drop to 1000 and then down to 800, no problem...
Any ideas as to what it might be? On my Corollas and Camrys it has been the dashpot spring wearing, it could be the same thing...

If it's not the dashpot, will a good tb/ISC cleaning help?
Thanks for any inspiration.
