So can you give me more info on how you got your antenna changed to the S2000 one? Was your stock one a motorized one? How is the reception? Is the conversion process complicated?

It is the easiest mod one can ever make... took me 30 seconds. My stock antenna wasn't motorized and I thought it looked fugly, so I jumped at the chance to replace it. The S2000 antenna has the same sized threaded stem as the stock antenna so it basically just bolts on. Just unscrew the stock one (should be hand tight only) and put the new one on, and voila! The reception hasn't changed at all.

Btw the part number is 39151-S2H-EO1. Get at any Honda dealer parts department

Hey Jeff,

Do you think it'll work on our Camrys? I don't like my "Radio Control Car" style replacement antenna

Thanks, Anthony.

Phi, I hope it will work. But the problem is that ours is motorized. We should consult the Camry antenna experts Henry and Dickson. I think they've been fooling around with theirs. What replacement do you have on there now? I don't think it's motorized, is it? If not, then was it a screw-on type like Anthony described??

I like the S2000 antenna. Maybe next time we meet up we can "borrow" it from Anthony for a test fit.

It was motorized from the factory. When I aquired it, it had been replaced with a long, narrow and ugly flexible coat hanger like thing, not to mention with 5h177y reception too.
