Inspection of a Stock 91 Celica GT 2.2

What should i look for? (dont wory im wrench savy im just asking about anything that is spasific to a 91 celica GT 2.2)

165 on the clock. the car is 100% stock.. when i get this up on a lift im going to do a full suspention and brake inspection (my speshalty) but what mottor services do i need to check for?

the car is a 5 speed.

during the test drive i herd a matalic noice under load. or when the trotel was between 5%-20% then it leveld off.. i dont know if it was just the injectors or not. i did conferm tho that the inital clicking when the car was at idel was the injectors. (u should hear WRX injectors.. people who dont know better think there car needs a tune up!)

the car should be on its second or third timing belt?

any recals i should be aware off?

i dont know the 2.2's... so just post any thing u think i should check out... thanks.....

Check valve seals, knocking when cold and if you can pop off the valve cover, do it.

i cant pull apart the trany!! lol

nana i alredy drove the car and it shifted well. there was no trouble geting the car into or out of gear. no noise ither. i can always pull the trany magnet (is there one on a 2.2l ?) but i think syncros are made of a none farus mettal (not iron based IE no magnetic)

Kid means shift from 3rd to 2nd, not 2nd to 1st.

The stuff I mentioned above along with shoddy synchros are pretty much it for problems you'll run into. And no, there's isn't a magnet.
