I cant wait for the end...But I know I need to be patient. I did find out how much wrenching is involved. wow

10 inch Cragars 50 series T/A radial...OH and they don’t make these anymore!! NICE

Nice Decals

A little rust but not too bad. I've had her since High School and garaged most of the time.

Oh and re-plating the smiley?? Well it’s running me $925
for the polishing of the two stainless pieces on the front
grill and the round bolts for the bumpers then the smiley’s
themselves. The guy said you won’t even recognize them
when he’s done…I hope they just kick butt!!

My plans are to restore the body entirely
new rubber throughout, the smiley’s told
you about that. I already did the interior,
headliner, carpet, and seats. Need to take
a look at the seat belts there not rolling all
the way out. This has been in my garage for
years like 20! My wife said either you do something
with that or I’m going to fill it with dirt and make a
planter out of it. So here ya go Honey!! $$

Oh wow. she's beautiful, man.

Its nice that you're doing a good restoration. Good luck with the rest of the wrenching, and cant wait to see the outcome

Is it just me or does this site not give the 1st generation the respect it deserves. Like at the top of the celica forum or topic whatever, its in alphabetic order but 1 gen isnt shown till toward the bottom "C"??

My body guy is just out of control!! When I dropped this off I sure didn’t expect this. He did come highly recommended and was labeled as meticulous…oh my gosh. I thought I took off a lot of stuff, but he just shelled my little Celica out. I am so lucky to have this guy and chose him because he has his own shop so the over head is nothing…bottom line money goes right to the car...nice!!

See the smiley's in the background? When I get those back that should be two great sparkling smiles I can’t wait. Oh and that is a 04 Fat boy in the background.

Nice...you gotta have the tunes
