5sge celica gt

Hey im new to this foum thing i just finished building a 5sge for my celica gt if anyone has built one of thies engines and has some info to share on it it love to hear from you i followed chris's 5sge build that he posted on this site and i have a running pretty powerful 5sge (much faster than the 5sfe engine) but it gets hot at the exaust manifold to the point the bottom of the manifold gets red hot within 5 min of moderateish not really redlining driving i belive its got somthing to do with my cams possibly they are out a tooth? also does anyone know if 3sgte hks adjustable cam gears fit on a n/a 86-89 3sge cylender head cause thos would probly make getting everything perfect a little easyer also my idle is at 2100rpm also caused by cam timing being out??????? but yeah if someones got some info i could use please tell me thanks alot!
