Celica All Trac BUILD

Hey guys,

Thought maybe someone can help me here. Before bashing about searching have en searching for a little while on this and not finding exactly what im looking for.

I have a 1992 5SFE Engine and I own a 92 Celica All Trac. All trac threw its fit and blew another head gasket well what im wanting to do is do the 5sfe block on this head. I have read much about do it other way around in a celica GT. But what bout on all-trac. What will need to be done to make this work? Parts or does it just bolt up? Which headgasket to use?

Thanks

IIRC some of the coolant passages wont line up. I know they do line up between the 86-89 3SGE and 5SFE block but I do not know about a newer gen 3SGTE, I do not think they line up but I dont know for sure.

If you only blew the gasket, your block should be usable. Unless the head is warped.
There is lots of info on 5S-GTE. You'll need a certain year 5S-FE block and certain year 3S-GTE head.
