91 celica gt clutch problem

Hi,

I own a 91 celica gt and live in michigan. Ever since it has gotten cold the clutch petal will sometimes not release back up when i take my foot up and the car will still go like it is not engaging. I sprayed it with some lube and it worked for awhile but i am wondering if something is wrong or maby air in the lines or something. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Colby

Sounds like a bad clutch master and/or slave.

just happened to me too. Turned out to be the clutch slave cilinder. Cheap parts easy to fix. Check the acordian boot on the slave mine was full of fluid. Dirty fluid will cause this. I used an air hose to clean out the line before filled and bled the line.
