91 gt wheel fitment question

I got offered 4 scion tc oem wheels for $100. I was wondeing if they fit. I'm gringo to find out the offset of them but I'm not having any luck. They're 17X7 and 5x100m. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

They're 45mm offset. The stock Celica`wheels are 38mm offset.

You can use a spacer.

I saw someone on this forum is using these wheels, without the spacer, but they were talking about using it.

I would look into getting the 16" Celica GTS wheels from a 7th gen celica, that's what I was thinking about doing. That would be a direct swap and you can still use the Toyota type lugnuts.

Yes, they fit. Several guys over on celicatech are running them.

but $100? not bad at all. I was actually about to head down to DC tonight to pick up a set for $225 which needed two tires. but more snow :/

As for spacers being safe, just make sure that past the end of the spacer you still have a decent amount of threads, you do not want the lug nuts to only hold onto the stud by a few turns.
