Gen6 Another dreaded oil leak thread...

So Ive researched forever now and I still cant figure out my oil leak...It use to leak on the ground but not anymore. Here what I replaced:

VC Gasket with half moons.
Oil Pan Gasket.
Distributor O ring ( It still leaks here though)

My question is for the dizzy o ring is there suppose to be a gap where the o ring is on the shaft? When I took mine apart it seemed that I can put two o rings in this shaft instead of one. Also most of the leak is behind the motor, it seems to leak on the flex pipe now being burned as I drive etc. I just bought the car and want this oil leak out of my hair...

There is a groove around the distributor journal where the o-ring sits it to seal this area where it mates up with the valve cover (top-half) and head (bottom-half). I'm not aware of an accessible o-ring on the distributor shaft going into the engine itself.

You could have a leak on the crankshaft seal that is on the engine side. You also could have a head gasket leak on that end of the engine. You just have to work from the top down, looking for any signs of leaks, and get each repaired, clean the engine each time, then keep looking at the highest point where you see signs of oil. Many an oil pan gasket gets replaced when the source is coming from above it.
