hoods and cops

alot of the 90 to 99 celi's i see have a scoop in the hood and i was looking for one for my 90 gts

1. does it serve a purpose or is it just for looks

2. off subject--- i need a radar detector due to the recent tickets i got for my speed which is the best to buy (for a small price)

find an Altrack Hood (the 3sGTE motor) its a turbo car that had a top mounted intercooler that hood has a scoop on it for the intercooler.

AWSOME deal.. i would bid on it if i had the money to blow on a hood... but i rather make a CF one myself.. (god i love knowing how to work with stuff like Epoxy Resin)


as for the radar detector.. im sory but the only one worth geting is the Valentine.

i wouldnt say that a hood scoop on the 5sfe would do much good really...it might cool your engine a bit but performance wise i wouldnt give it anything
