Well, I have a Gen 5. I don't know if the Gen 5 & 6 window controls are the same or not. But if they are the same or similar, you might want to check...
The driver's side "master" window control switches. Mine has a "window lock" button on it. When depressed, it prevents the passenger side window only from being opened or closed from the master (driver's side) switch or from the passenger side switch. It is supposed to be a way to prevent a child from playing with or opening the window on their side.
If you have such a button, try pressing it once and see if that resolves your problem.
If you have such a button, but this doesn't solve your problem, a question I would have is "did you have the driver's inside door panel removed recently?". Reason I would ask is that there is only a single, small wire going to this window lock button, and it often doesn't get reconnected when the door panel is removed. If it is not connected, the passenger side window will not operate.
Good luck. Let us know what you find out.
