Side Skirts - Opinion Please

My 2001 Celica is feeling exposed. I knew something was missing when I purchased her, but only recently learned that the "side skirts" are gone. Both of them...

Now please humor an old timer and tell me what the differences are between the $150 skirts on ebay and those that bring 2x 3x or even 4x that amount elsewhere.

I tend to be a value shopper, looking for products that represent really good quality without paying a premium price.

So here is an opportunity to voice your suggestions and opinions

I am interested in learning about what is typically used to attach them, and if there are different methods.

Also how much prep work is typically required to get them to fit properly.

Durability would also be important, as this car will be driven regularly.

Thanks!

The fitment and material they're made of. Most are fiberglass. Some are even plastic. Polyurethane is the most durable.(an expensive)
Some of the fitment problems are -1 side longer than the other, height is off, or mounting surfaces don't mate correctly with the car.

Depends on your application. Some people use rivets, screws, double sided mounting tape(like for side mouldings).

If they don't fit the way they're suppose to, you may have to lengthen or shorten them.
If they do fit right, just painting them.
