1.6L engine

ok so what ways r there to get power outta this engine
is there any other than a CAI and Exhaust
i tried searchign and just saw thread up thread by idiots about ebay chips?
plz show me some links to whats out there or let me know if i shoud be crossing my fingers that a gt get totalled in the rear end close enough for me to pick up the motor

There isn't much you can do with the 1.6. Your best bet is custom made headers, high flow cat, mandrel bent cat back system. The next option and and this one will net you the greatest increase in speed (not power) is stripping your car of extra weight.

If you going to be swaping in a motor, you might as well just look at buying a GT or find your self a Turbo All-Trac. A 90-93 Celica GT doesn't go for that much and a 94-99 Celica GT Liftback also too don't go for that much. If your going to do the labor by your self and you have access to a junk yard with Celica GT parts then the swap is a good idea for cost savings.

well im working with a free car here so i dont want to mangle a celica thats in such great condition but ill bide my time, CAI and exhaust (magnaflow, no buzz can mess) hope to see a wrecked gt body wise and swap stuff over. Times whatever to me

Honestly, having driven both 4afe and 5sfe, unless you can score the wrecked gt for practically free, I wouldn't really spend for that swap. the 5S has some nice torque for in traffic but its not a powerhouse.

I've always liked the idea of a 20v in an ST, or maybe even a 4agze. Or theres always the 3sgte swap
