2 new rear Struts and some FUBAR sway bar links

who the hell desined those freeking links!!#%@^
i killed them trying to get my new rear KYB Gas struts in 2day!!

(BTW do they make PB blaster in gallon sized cans.. i could have used that 2day!!)

ok so my rear struts where shot, so i put in new KYB's. sadly some moron desined those sway bar links and never thought that perhaps they where going to be removed in 10 years and that they would be all rusty.. (never crossed the dudes mind i sware!) so i tore the ball joint boots aprt trying to get those freeking things lose... oh ya.. and WHO THE HELL puts a FREEKING BRAKE LINE THREW a strut?? WHooo!! (Toyota)
so i had to bleed my brake system for no good reason other then the fact that some one decided it would be a good idea to run a brake line threw a pointless bracket.. other then that it went smooth, and i got the old struts out and the new strust in with no problums, other then trying to line up the strut tower bolts.
so now i need new sway bar links, and the local auto place has them listed for 50 bucks each... (FUNK that) any cheeper ideas?

that stupid freeking 5mm Alan Key,, whaat was toyota smoking when they came up with that one.. (ford, one nut, and on the ball joint side a hex head flange, simple as shit to undo)

and whats the corect method to get those out other then clamping the shit out of the balljoint side and kicking its ass with a wrench, and air hammer. (air gun)

When I did mine, I just took a hacksaw and notched the old tabs on the strut to get the line out, then notched the new ones and put the retaining clip back.

But I feel your pain on the end links

i was thinking of cuting them, but i have alot of hand's on with brake's.. ive had Dot3 on my hands more times then i care to list, so geting messy with the brake lines sucked, but it wasent the end of the world.. but those fucking LINKS$#^@$&@#$*

im woundering if theres a ford link that is match size that i can use. BC those links have a hex head on the balljoint side that lets you get a wrench in there and rip off the nut.

when i did mines it was fun, i did it at work so i had air tools, the pass. side was easy(i replace all corners so i spray the backs first ), i wire brush the tip of the stud, then jus turn it with a wrench, it felt ok so i hit it with impact gun. it came out, now the driver's what a pos, it would spin with the wrench, the impact wont work, the allen wrench didnt work, i end up bringing out the torch, red hot work, hot enough(dont burn the rubber), it came out withthe wrench, he brake lines just a cutting wheel or a hack saw, if not pair of vise grip, brake it off and dont worry
