Where to buy a rebuilt Celica transmission

I'm asking this question for a friend of mine. 2000 GT-S with 90 K on it and the transmission no longer engaged 5th gear. He's hoping to get a rebuilt transmission so who's a reliable vendor to get it from? He's shipping the car to South Korea in the summer, is there a reliable vendor from Japan that anyone know of? I saw a couple of rebuilt transmission going for 900 from Arizona from Santan transmission, wonder if that's any good. Also, even the 5th gear, the transmission should still last for a long time even with that gear missing right? Thanks everyone.
