Works pretty well for me. I run mine at 13 degrees BTDC, and it seems to give me a litle more boost. But right now my distributor is crapped, leaking oil, and dropped resistance, so it's not doing me any good. Of course I don't know what you've got under the hood, but mine is just stock. I wish I had the time and resources to do some mods, but at least I take good care of it.

im keeping the motor NA but the full plan is to have a new head bolted on, this head along with the intake will be ported and polished. there will be a new intake put on the car that will be a CAI from the front fender, with a ram like setup. depending on funds the exhaust will have headers, but most definitly have a cat back system on the car. the idea is to pinch as much preformace out of the stock bottem end. so naturly advancing my timing cam across my mind, aspeshaly due to the fact that with the throtel full open, the car is runing realy realy rich. who knows my timing might alredy be shot, and i might just have to bring it back to stock before i can start to advance it.

well, if you are going to do something like an afr on the engine, i would hope that you are going to dyno tune it for max power. while you are there, play with advancing your timing. make sure you have 93 in the tank though

I run 20* advanced all day long on my 5S with 100 LL avgas, I suggest you dyno tune your car to see what degree is best. Gains from this will depend on other mods done to the engine as well.
