Dome light and tails light

Hi all, i have 1993 Toyota Celica GT and yesterday while driving, speedometer light and tail lights went off suddenly, i have changed the fuse ,yellow one,15V 20Amp, changed the fuse under the stering wheel and also under the hood, but the lights are still off, any suggestions, help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Did you change all these fuses because all were blown?

Do your front lights work?

No reply regarding the fuses you changed, if they were blown?

Above your driver's side kick panel, you have a fuse block. Fuse 9 is a 15A TAIL fuse. This fuse protects your tail lights, parking lights, side marker lights, license plate lights, instrument panel lights, and glovebox light. Check if any of these light work when your have your lightswitch on. If any lights work, then this fuse and the wiring support it are fine. There will be a problem downstream of this fuse that needs to be diagnosed. But check this first and let us know.

I would first check if any of the lights in thread #4 work with the light switch on before checking fuse 9. First step first! No need to worry about fuse 9 if any of the lights listed in thread 4 work.

Thanks a ton buddy, i checked the glove box light and other lights and they were off, pulled out the fuse for tail light, fuse number 9, it was smoked, all black, changed it and all the lights are back on. Thanks a lot for the information, saved me a lot of time and hassle.
