Ok so I bought this 82 Celica with 4 friends, cost us each $25!!!! It ran great! 253xxx on it. Strong, FAST! Idk how fast because I'm sure most of you know the speedo only goes to 85mph. Fun car. But I really have been dying to give it a custom look soo....

Thanks! Ya great forum! I am working on another hood right now for a mustang fastback. Just a cowl but I am starting a 3rd gen camaro hood on monday. Its going to be very unique.

Aesthetically, it's too over the top for an old fossil like me
But for $25 each it's a cheap thing to experiment on.

In the first photo I can see straight through to the engine.
Have you given any thought to what happens in the rain?
Perhaps some drain channels underneath to redirect any water to the side.
Then again, for $25 it doesn't really matter.

Why do yank models only go to 85 mph ?
My 1977 Australian spec Celica's speedo goes to 200 km/h (about 125 mph)

lol no the speedometer only goes to 85. I know it goes faster! I just don't know how much!

ya i figured for $25 i wouldn't put to much into it. Just experiments. I thought about mesh to put into it to but never got around to it.
