Yes, 17s fit fine. I'm running 17x7s right now. BUT it all depends on what offset they have, how wide they are, and what size tire you are going to run. Also, what kind of celica? the GTS is a widebody and has more room than a narrowbody.

I am running: 17x7, +42 offset, with 215/45/17 tires on a narrowbody coupe. The tire clears the strut housing by about 3/4 an inch and sits about 3/4 from the edge of the fender well. I get a tiny bit of rub in extreme circumstances(several passengers, turning, and hitting a larger bump sort of circumstances) but that could be fixed by rolling the inner fender lip back a little.

yeah, wheel fitment is sometimes a bit tough, the wheels on my old corolla had too high of an offset so rubbed the rear struts and would rub at full lock. I guess try to shoot for around +40 offset on a 7 inch wide wheel.

Also one more thing, its a pet peeve of mine, but please as much as possible, avoid texting language on forums. I can understand it fine since I grew up around the stuff, but many frequent these forums are older so you have to take this into consideration. Forums (automotive esp.) are often used for research and technical information so without the use of at least somewhat proper grammar and spelling information can become cryptic or just simply difficult to read.

I'm not trying to bust your chops, its just something to take into consideration.

Whenever you buy wheels, offset is something you have to account for. Essentially it determines how the wheel sits compared to the mating surface. Offset is the measurement from the middle of the wheel to the mating surface with the hub (where your wheel contacts the hub, that the lugnuts go through)

FWD cars usually use a higher offset while RWD usually use an offset closer to zero.

The Narrowbody(like what you have) requires approx a +40 offset, so the hub mating surface will be 40 mm away from the center of the wheel. Anytime you buy wheels this information is readily available.

If you cant find the exact offset, if you buy ones with a lower offset, closer to zero, it will bring the wheel further out towards or out of the fender. If you buy ones with a higher offset the wheels will sit more inboard
