77 Celica Swap?

I have a 77 Celica GT w/ orig 20R motor and only 107K on it. Im looking to get some more power out of it. Should I do a swap to 22RE or just build up the 20R. It's carburated and runs pretty strong. Also, I want to build up the suspension and lower it, I can't seem to find any lowering springs. Sugestions? Thanks!

P.S. also looking for Konig Rewind wheels, not sure what best size would be or if anyone has a set to sell?

The 22R (with carb) is a direct swap.
The 22R-E also fits mechanically but you need to wire in the computer and add a high pressure fuel pump.

Even better if you put the 22R in with your old 20R head (raises the compression ration, which allows you to tune it for higher power).
Only works for an early model tall deck 22R block (pre 1985).

Then do the usual stuff of aftermarket carb, cam and exhaust but I can't give any particular recommendations (except that many people have get good results from the Weber 32/36 carb).

Lowered springs are available from Kings Springs (I have them front and rear on my '77).
They don't always put them in their catalogue but can be ordered anyway.

Whiteline also have a selection of springs, sway-bars, strut bars, etc (again, you sometimes have to ask because they don't always advertise the old stuff).

Noltec have a nice camber adjustment plate (avoid the K-mac plate - I hate mine).
