85 Celica GT Gear Ratios??

Hi guys i just picked up a 85 Celica Gt liftback today and was already looking into the performance aspect of the car, i plan on keeping the 22re in it, they guy that had it already has the bottom end set-up for all motor, heads done, w/ nice street/strip cam from Lc Engineering. Was wanting to find info on the 5 spd manual gear ratios as well as the rear gear ratios...i'm going to search more if any of you guys know where i can find a got decoder for Celica it would be much appreciated.

The '85 GT liftback has an F series diff with IRS.
Ratio is 3.417 for the manual.

You can get other ratios from 4WD shops because the F series diff was also used on some Hiluxes (aka pickup in the US) but your speedo will then need to be recalibrated.
Decoding can be done here:

Basic options for the RA65 Celica are here:

The W58 gearbox is a good strong gearbox that is also found behind Toyotas 6 cylinder engines.
The ratios are here:

You can directly replace it with any W55/56/57/5/8/59 gearbox (but Not W50).
Some of them have the gearstick coming out at slightly different locations but you can put the rear of your old box onto the new box.
