AUTO to MANUAL SWAP

So here is teh story.

My brothers 1991 GTS is getting tired. more rust, brakes are giving trouble even with new lines annd calipers, yadda yadda.

we found an AUTOMATIC 1992 GTS

I reviewed a few swap pages, seems with two full cars, this swap can be done without any fabrication.

The auto car has nearly zero rust, and only a bad motor.

what do you guys think?

My guess is MAYBE crossmeber, swap pedals, shifter assembly, wiring harness, ecu, adn teh interior parts surrounding the shifter.

We may also swap gauge clusters (auto one seems different) if no extra wiring needs to be swapped.

Can you guys please confirm this is a no BS swap, all bolt/swap in?

thanks guys, Much appreciated!

It should be relatively easy. A friend of mine swapped an 89 corolla from auto to manual. I dont really know if you would have to swap the whole harness... It may be worth it though since the auto car is a second revision 5sfe but you could probably work around it. Oh also remember the axles and clutch hydraulics.
