No sorry. You'll need wiring diagram.

you need the complete uncut wire harness from the 3sgte. including the ecu. the 5sfe wire harness is different. if you use your 5sfe tranny i would upgrade the clutch considering the 3sgte is putting more power into the trans. also if your using your 5s trans you can reuse the drive axles but i don't know the condition of your current axles and i would recommend picking up oem replacements

well i might be getting a diypnp megasquirt ecu system for it as well. and the clutch was changed on the car about 5 months ago. think it would still be good. or should i change to a higher stage. i believe it has a stage 2 one in right now. and as for the axles im not sure. but ill just drive it till something breaks. and ill buy them and have them on hand till i need to change them.

stage 2 should be fine. if its going to be a DD i wouldn't go any higher. still going to need the uncut wire harness if your getting a stand alone system. What are you planing on doing to the engine?

Unless you plan on exceeding 290hp, you don't need a stand alone. The ECU can handle to that level.
Stock 3sgte clutch is good to 280hp.

im not sure what im going to do to the motor yet. this is the first performance engine/car ive owned and im half ass new to the whole thing. i barely know what a stand alone system does. might be embarassing to hear but. theres a first for everything i was gonna put the motor in soon as i got it but. i think ill wait. and clean up the block a bit, and get little upgrades so i can add it way easier. like an aftermarked manifold. some new pullies, a front mount intercooler if its possible. and i will need a new fuel pump right? or could i just buy some higher psi injectors? what kind of parts shoould i do? brands and what should i look at doing to it before i swap it in? i wanted to make the car have both front tires turn at the same time like pozy axles. is it possible or worth it?

well if your going to have the engine sitting around for a bit before installing it i would rebuild it. make sure everything is up to spec. replace water pump. oil pump. timing belt things of that nature that tend to go out with age. replace the head gasket with a metal one. and maybe replace other gaskets like the valve cover and oil pan. simple oem replacements like the one's i've suggested will help make that 3sgte run for years to come. your fuel pump will need replace. you can use an used pump form an alltrac or mr2 that had the 3sgte in it.

For performance parts it all depends on what you want to do. What horsepower are you shooting for? the 3sgte is a good engine that can handle alot of power with the right types of parts.

A front mounted intercooler can be done. i recommend doing that unless you really want to use the top mounted one the engine came with but you will need the Alltrac hood for it to fit.

i would recommend doing some research. the internet is full of useful info along with this site. since you don't know what a stand alone does look it up. just because you don't know doesn't make you dumb. we all got to start out somewhere. there was a time when i didn't even know what timing was and i thought diesel engines had spark plugs.

im not sure what kind of horsepower im looking for. i havent felt the power of anything more than a stock 2001 camaro. this is the first reliable car ive owned. my last car was a sunfire sadly. and i really appreicate the respect you gave me as a new guy to the hobby im gonna get the stand alone tho for now. the guy selling it to me can help me out with it. he has told me i can program it to my existing 5sfe so ill use it on that for now till i get the 3sgte done. im hoping by next summer ill have it ready to go. this is something i really dont want to rush. since yea this car will be my daily driver. i wanna turn some heads with the car for sure.

the stand alone is completely pointless and a waste of money. it won't make the car faster. and if its not tuned right it will mostlikely make the car slower and perform bad.
