after putting gas in my car....

everytime i put gas in my car my car starts to act up as soon as i start it.

it feels like its turning off when i start the car with the gas in.
like the RPM's drop big time, like they got to like at 100 and 200 rpm

so i was wondering why it would do that.
and when i push the pedal, i can hear the exhaust like pop...just like how a SRT-4 sounds like.

why does it do this..??

Well, unfortunately, you didn't say what year, model, engine and transmission type you have. No one can offer much assistance without knowing a lot more about what you have.

A universal question regarding why it always and only happens after putting gas in your car would be: Do you top off your gas tank to get every last drop you can in it? Depending upon what year and model you have, you could be flooding your EVAP system, which would tend to cause the symptoms you are experiencing.

OK, good. When you get this problem after putting gas in the car, do you get a check engine light to turn on? If so, read that code and let us know what it is.

Otherwise, I think you are getting liquid fuel into your EVAP canister and when the car is purging the canister, it is getting liquid fuel rather than fuel vapors going through it. If you have been filling the tank to the very top, you may have already damaged the EVAP canister by exposing it to liquid fuel too often.

You haven't said how you've filled the fuel tank, so I really cannot be sure of this. Hard to answer this kind of question without having all the details.

yes i have a a cold air intake...
and i fill it up all the way when it sounds like its bogging out.
and only when i fill it when its full.

and the check engine light is off right now..
but later on the light turns on..
but i will get the code checked on that.

but what options would i have in order to fix that part of my car?!?

The good think is that your CEL (check engine light) has come on. Even if it is off now, the code that set it will still be stored. You may have several codes. Please get all code numbers and let us know what they are. Only after we know what they are will we be able to help you with a potential fix.

I dont quite know what you mean by "bogging out" but don't fill beyond when the pump clicks off the first time.

edit: blogging out as in your quote about filling up.

It would be best to get the codes now. Those codes are stored in the ECM's memory and can be gotten any time (like my previous post said). You don't need to wait until the CEL comes back on to get it/them.
