3rd Generation '84 Celica: What's she worth?

Well, pretty simple. What's she worth? What would you pay for her? The starting issue is apparently just an old battery thats been sitting.

Quote:
1984 Toyota Celica ST. 5 Speed manual transmission. Rear wheel drive. 22RE (4 cylinder) engine. 218718 miles. New bearings, rotors, and brakes on front end. Have entire set of original rims and entire set of GT rims. Also put GT mirrors on both doors, drivers side has issue. Bought it to restore and have no time, great project car! Inteior is in good condition. Exterior needs work. Pop up headlights work. Have original shop/work manual to go with car. Tagged historic and was driving it last year, parked since winter. Having starting issue now. Great for parts or restoration.

Yikes! I didn't spot the rust on the quarterpanel first time around. That might cost a penny or two to repair!

But what concerned my about the camry was that the passenger side doors were hit in such a way that neither window goes up straight anymore. I'm not confortable with that either.... Unless you are willing to replace and repaint the doors.

I'm willing to do that. So not a huge issue. Unless we have damage beyond the doors.

I guess it depends on how it was hit. The fact that the windows don't go up straight kinda suggests the hinges are thrown off alignment (I'm just assuming) If that's the case, it's gonna cost a pretty penny as well.... And even then, the new doors may not sit the way you like. But I'd check it out before jumping to conclusions.

That is a $500 car tops.

The age, rust, issues (claimed to be corrected,) interior condition. It would take at least $500 to get it into decent shape and about $3000 to get it restored to 20ft looks status.
