Tell me why so many people doubt these 4th gens I bet a GTS (3SGE) would eat just about all the other celicas -all trac and new GTS 6speeds maybe. I know mine for a fact would eat the GTS's and 88-89 All Trac.

Whats up with that just cause its a 88 or 89 or even 86 or 87 it cant be fast? People these days all about if your car looks good its gotta be fast.

yeah, my firends brother was always laughing at my 87 GT-S with his friends and like "come on this piece cant do anything" well yeah he always see's me driving it slow because I'm not a dipshit and dont drive my car to redline in every gear like his friends. well last night he was lookin under the hood and they're like "whats this thing got done to it" and it's only got a rebuilt engine with 4,000 kms on it and a new clutch then just new suspension parts and stuff so the car is stock but runs good and handles decent. Well they kept laughing so i was like alright and launched it at about 3,000 rpm laid on the gas and spun the tires all thriough first gear. well that shut them up then i left and shifted at redline through my first two gears. LOL that showed them and now they're like "oooh you gotta race my friends crx" it's like an 86 or something. lol its small and light but i think i can takea honda.

I know man its funny huh! LOL They got me set up racing a HondA Civic HB CX lol with a rebuilt engine. OH Scary. Then this other D15B Oh more scary lol Im gonna kill em all then just laugh the whole time lol!!

Anyways 4ths cant be to slow or I wouldnt drive it lol faster than my friends 96 Civic with a B18 Vtec.

IIRC they were rated at 16.0 flat in the 1/4 mile. Then add a few mods like timing adjustment, AFM, K&N that may drop up to .5 or so. Very respectable for a DD that is 16 yrs old and gets 30mpg

I plan to get mine on to the dyno at school in the next few weeks to actually SEE how much hp I'm putting out

I used one of those dash 1/4 mile time things and it says I was puttin down 15.1 @ 94 mph... and I know I could have done better if I didnt have such a traction loss in 1st. I couldnt do to much Im guessing on some drag radials I should be able to run about a 14.6-14.8 I hope. I need LSD lol. Thats what I think my next real mod will be. I hope that thing is right cause if it is man Im happy!!

I just got all new ehxaust on my 4th gen. I havent tried launching it and seeing how fast it goes but I can notice more power just driving it.

Yeah, When I got my 4th gen it gave me sooooo many problems. They guy that had it before must have run the shit out of it. I got home and it was leaking ioil so bad that I only had about 2 L left. I got that fixed along with doing plugs, wires, brakes, oil pan, belts and tires. A couple weeks later i did the clutch and the dipshit didnt replace the main seal so that gave me another huge oil leak. I bitched and got it re-done free. patched up one wheel well, new gas cap, rad cap and oil cap, re-wired whole stereo, then the battery, battery terminals, starter, radiator, inner ti-rod ends and re sealed the windshield. I need to do the rear brake shoes so I have an e-brake but its 4 wheel disk so It's not too important, drivers side CV axle, front tires, and passenger side door. I have a new one but havent put it on yet. My power steering pump is seeping a little but no big deal and my outter ti-rod ends are wearing a little but not bad enough to replace yet. YEP I had problems too. lol but I love the car and its a pretty good car OH YEAH and I just did exhaust and cat because the old exhaust rusted and fell off.

oh yeah, im still driving it. im putting the enw door on this week sometime. I'm still trying to save money so i can buy a better car but this one will have to do for now.

I just killed a Honda Accord 2dr. V6. Damn, i killed him buy 1 a car length.

I was low on fuel, because i just finished smoking a Merage. SO i was tring to get to the gas station, when this Accord cut me off, with a little fart muffler. So naturly i had to kill it. Honestly, i didn't think that i could take it. But with my new JDM 3sge motor, i'm ontop of the world, untell i meat a all trac .

So i gunned it when he had allready had a 2 car length head start. I maxed 1st, maxed 2nd and when i was bout half way in second i started to real him in. When i maxed 2nd, i was already ahead of him by 1 car length. I knew he was going because i herd his V-tec kick in. But my Tvi-s had already taken affect so i was killing him. When we slowed for the next light, the window started to role down, low and behold, it was a fine as chick. So said for me to pull over at the next street so i did.

When i stoped she got out of the car and got in myn. And said " damn you really know how to drive" I was still in shock when this happened. Lets just say i got her phone # and i think we will meat again in a short time.

Gota love that celica if it gets me girls even with a murone hood and a blue body.LOL.

Any All-Trac would walk all over you in any kind of race given a compitent driver. Any 7th Gen GTS even GT would walk all over you given a compitent driver. You need to rethink your outragoues statements. To the guy who said he smoked a V6 Accord. You woulda got walked all over too.

Ok this is funny.. I beat my friends stock 4th gen All Trac.. He only runs a 15.2 in the 1/4 of course he gets me off the start I reel him in tho because his car is so much more heavier. I beat a new GTS with 6speed the same night on the street. He was amazed cause he didnt think I could get him and he had a TRD exhaust and a injen intake. So I mean alot comes into play when racing the driver, the wieght, the tq, and the hp. I think I got him on tq but not on the hp. and tq wins races. To bad on top end the he would eat me.
