Unhappy Need Help

I have an 87 Celica GT convertible, The problem I am having is it starts fine then drops to about 300 to 400 RPM when i give it gas it stalls out.What are the things that could cause this? What should I check? thank you

When's the last time you did a complete ignition system tune up?
Plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires and check ignition timing. Also check idle control valve.
Vacuum leak is also a possibility.

I did all that 10,000 miles ago that's why I have no idea why it is doing what it is doing...

There is a sticker on the underneath side of your hood that tells you exactly how to adjust your idle speed. I would highly recommend you consider doing this step first. This adjustment should be done yearly. If you haven't done it annually, you should do this before starting anything else.
