Door stuck shut on 92 :(

So the door on my 92 is stuck shut... when I bought the car I figured it was something dumb like the rod had fallen off but it appears to be deeper than that.

I pulled the door panel back some (had to break it) and got my hand in there to reconnect the rod to the outer handle... but when I try and open the door nothing happens.

I pulled on the inside rod too and nothing happens.

I have tried pushing and pulling up and down on the lock rod too to make sure it isn't locked.

I think the latch might be seized.

What can I do besides cut a huge hole in the door to open it???
