gen1 3SGE head on gen2 3SGTE block ??

Will a 1st gen 3SGE head (ST162) fit perfectly onto a gen2 3SGTE block (ST185)?
if so since the first is an NA motor does it flow better than the gen2 turbo head?
the 3SGE has slightly bigger cams than 3sgte : 240 degrees vs 234 so i wonder if that head is more ported out from stock. from what i think they have the same head gasket design

The 3sgte head flows much better than the 3sge head.
Some of the MR2 guys use the 3sge cams on the 3sgte head for those extra few degrees.
